Oh, all right. I don't take it all back, but I do have to revise my previous opinion about Facebook.

Now that I've been using the sight for over a month, I have to concede that it's handier and more fun than I originally thought.

StumbleUpon is a handy little site if you enjoy spending your free time following up on your interests online.

Facebook, Facebook, Facebook. Everybody has Facebook accounts. You have to join Facebook. We can measure the popularity of politicians by how many "friends" they have on Facebook.

Really? Is it that important? I joined LinkedIn already, isn't that good enough?

As it turns out, it is for me.

I've been feeling a little bit left out. When I first started coming to the Media Future Now lunches, one of the speakers asked for a show of hands for everyone who "twittered." I had no idea what "twittering" was. Now I know. For the record, I have no desire to twitter, but millions obviously do. In the past couple of years some handy new tools have become popular on the web and I can't be the only one who doesn't know what they're all for.
